Environmental Policy

　
　Eto Co., Ltd. considers concern for the environment to be an important policy, and the Environmental Management System Activity Organization will work on environmental initiatives in accordance with the following policies, taking into account the procurement of components and products handled by the company, support for its sales activities, and environmental issues within the organization.
　

• Ⅰ)In order to reduce as far as possible the environmental impact of the organization’s objectives and activities, as well as the nature of our products and services, we will address the following priorities.
  • ①In order to enhance stakeholders’ satisfaction, we will take life cycle into consideration and support initiatives for the active proposal and promotion of environmentally friendly products.
  • ②We will proceed with initiatives for reducing and controlling CO2 emissions aimed at the prevention of global warming.
    (initiatives with emission reduction targets across the whole company and the promotion of energy saving)
  • ③We will promote controlling the amount used of copy paper and the paper’s appropriate disposal.
  • ④We will promote the controlling the amount of waste products generated and their appropriate disposal.
  • ⑤We will promote reuse and recycling.
  • ⑥We will aim to communicate and develop awareness such that every employee will engage in environmental conservation positively and proactively.
• Ⅱ）In order to accomplish our environmental policy, we will establish and clarify environmental targets and review them periodically.
• Ⅲ）We will promote the protection of the environment by recognizing the importance of efforts to prevent pollution and conserve biodiversity.
• Ⅳ）We will abide by applicable legal requirements and other requirements that the organization has agreed to.
• Ⅴ）In order to improve our environmental performance, we will make continuous improvements to our environmental management system, working proactively to improve effectiveness and promote conservation activities.
• Ⅵ）We will address the regulation of chemical substances contained in our products through the company’s separate management system.

Note: In addition to proactive efforts for item (1) in Ⅰ) , we will also work on other environmental activities at sites belonging to departments outside the scope of certification registration.
　
This environmental policy, as well as being circulated to all employees, will also be disclosed publicly (to stakeholders).
