Activities for the environment

Eto is keenly aware of the importance of global environment conservation and environment protection, and recognizes them as important issues for management. In particular, the prevention of global warming is a pressing issue. We obtained ISO14001 authentication (authentication No.EC00J0123)【※Note】 in October 2000 and are developing integrated environmentally conscious business activities in compliance with the international standard. Through the complete implementation of the total environmental management, which is the promotion of the 3Rs (reduction of Co2 emissions, reduction of waste discharge, and reduction of energy resource usage), proposals and supply of environmentally conscious products, promotion of biodiversity and social contribution activities, and the legal compliance of environmental law regulations, we are strongly continuing every day efforts in the pursuit of an environmentally conscious company.
　

Eto is, by its own product environmental quality assurance management system (Environmental Quality System) that encompasses the supply chain, positively developing the activities to reduce environmental impact of the product, and at the same time are promoting environmental management that combines the rationalization and efficiency of the product environmental quality assurance activities. Our product environmental quality assurance activities deliver products that satisfy the individual requirements, such as the environment-related laws and regulations and the green procurement guidelines, and environmental management standards of each client, and are making efforts for improvement by monitoring the operation status in our regular audits. In addition, to improve the accuracy of the product environmental quality, in cooperation with the suppliers, we are implementing regular audits, checking the activity state and construction state of the environmental management system, and we are actively aiming to improve the cooperation system. Especially for the surface treatment of the product, regarding the trivalent chromate treatment that is environmentally responsive, we have established a factory certification system and offer reliable technology and quality management. As for the impact of environmentally harmful substances, in order to respond to the requirement concerning the use prohibited substances, control restricted substances, etc., through the analysis and evaluation by the ICP analysis, fluorescent X-ray analysis, hexavalent chromium elution tests, etc., we also continue to supply and promote products that are completely safe for the environment.
